<p>I just got my score today and even though it was lower than i wanted i discovered i did really well on my essay.</p>

<p>it is not important and no school will spend more than 2 seconds on your essay score.</p>
<p>of course it’s important. Big competitive schools used to require the SAT II Writing, but now don’t because of the implementation of the essay on the SAT. It is important to some school, probably the more competitive ones. But not that important.</p>
