What schools fit this profile

First, my SATs will be around 1420-1470 (say 1450 for sake of arguement), gpa is 3.3, average ECs (below average even maybe, the main one is varsity lacrosse). I’m looking for a college in or with easy access to a big city (Eastern seaboard, preferably), under ten thousand students, somewhat of a relaxed atomsphere (students don’t spend all their waking hours studying). Any schools you guys know of that fit my Academics and what I want from a college?

BC? but a 3.3, seems like a low GPA for such high SAT scores and the lack of ECs…but yea, i think BC fits that profile. My brother goes there and I can attest to how nice it is and easy to just get on the T and get into Boston in no time. And from what he tells me, you can get away with not studying all the time

Interesting. That was actually on my list but I crossed it off because I figured my gpa was too low.

Look at Elon College, Fairfield U, Allegheny College and Ithaca college.

Might want to look at some LAC’s like Colgate or Holy Cross-both better than Boston College. Holy Cross is in a city and also only 1 hour from Boston. Also BC doesn’t have varsity lacrosse, while Holy Cross and Colgate play in the highly academic Patriot League.

Its worth a try. From what Ive read, they are very big on high standarized test scores so yea, you got that part going for you

What about Davidson? Your GPA may be a tiny bit low for it, but your SATs are right there.
