I am currently a junior with a csu gpa of 3.68, but my fully weighted is much higher. I took lots of honors classes but most don’t count for an official csu gpa boost. My sat is 1130 but my act is a 27. I want to apply to mostly csu’s and a few uc’s (dream school is ucsc). I will also be applying to the university of Arizona and U of Oregon. I am also going to be the senior class vp next year. What are my chances of acceptance?
Based on your academic credentials, I would say you have a solid chance at the CSUs, U or Arizona, and U of Oregon. However, your qualifications are a bit too low for the UCs, and I would say most of them would be reaches for you. I say most because I do still think you have a decent chance of getting into schools such as UC Riverside and UC Merced. That said, I can’t really tell for sure unless I know your ECs. Good luck!

As you sit, UCM and UCR will probably take you - for most majors. UCSC could go either way so, hone your essays and do what you can to boost your SAT or ACT to improve you chances there.
For most majors you’ll get into all the CSUs except CP SLO - SDSU you are on the bubble, another 50 SAT points would likely put you over. AZ and OR only offer WUE for select, short list of majors so, they are really expensive unless you have a scholarship. Less popular OR - like OIT and Portland State and AZ - like Northern Az. Elsewhere, UNR, Boise State and most of the Colorado schools are more generous.
If there is something specific pulling you OOS - or aren’t budget constrained, then perhaps it is worth it. Otherwise, OOS is tough to rationalize.
Your judgement is great so far on where you fit. I would suggest going for CSUs to save money. And apply to UCSC! I think you have a shot.
