I have been asked to report my asset on CSS profile
“How much does [my name] currently have in cash, savings, checking, and deposit accounts?”
A good amount of the money I have in my bank account is from financial aid disbursement from Pell Grant, and some other programs.
Should I report the disbursement money to CSS?

I’m hoping someone will verify what I wrote…if it’s accurate…or not.
I could be wrong but I don’t think you report money you have received as financial aid on the financial aid application.
But also, you should spend that money on your college costs before submitting the forms. Presumably you received this money because you needed it to pay for college.
You do not report any money in your accounts that is from any kind of financial aid. (I worked in financial aid & know this for a fact.)
