What should be the title of my essay for graduate school application?

<p>"Please describe your previous academic work in your proposed field of study and include a personal statement regarding your goals for graduate study and a professional career. Please also describe any relevant research experience and what you have learned from it, and other educational and life experiences that you feel are important and relevant. If you have specific interests in your proposed field of study or are interested in working with any particular faculty members, please tell us about them."</p>

<p>I'm applying to UIUC grad program of Electrical Engg. I'm not sure to put Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement/Academic Statement as a title. Please suggest a suitable title matching the prompt. Thank you</p>

<p>I don’t think the HS students posting here can help you with that. You are better off posting in the Graduate School forum here, for graduate questions. Statement of Purpose is fine.</p>

<p>That type of essay is generally considered a Statement of Purpose, so I would put that. What you title it though isn’t going to make much of a difference.</p>
