I have already had one year of yearbook experience, and I was photo editor which means that if signed up for yearbook again I would most likely be guaranteed a spot on the staff, and probably a spot as editor. Next year, I was considering taking Spanish so that I would have 1 less year to take it in high school. All my friends are taking Spanish this year. Problem is, is that if I take Spanish I will be in Spanish 1 while my friends are in Spanish 2. I know that I shouldn’t care if my friends are in the class, but I have advanced classes and this is really the only class where I could be with them. I have a few friends in yearbook now though. I know that yearbook looks good on applications though because of all the responsibility and required skills, but I don’t know if I should take Spanish just so I don’t have to in high school. What should I do and what looks best on my college application?
Nothing you do in middle school will/should go on your college application. It doesn’t matter what you choose. Seriously, you’re going to be in 8th grade. Please don’t already start to make everything in your life revolve around college admissions. Just pick whichever elective you enjoy the most.
If you are in middle school please get off CC and come back when you are a junior in HS.
