What should I do about my AP exams?

I was accepted EA to Georgetown NHS, Notre Dame, and Boston College. (Thank god!) Now I have to sign up for AP exams. I plan to major in biology, and follow the pre-med track.

I am currently signed up for AP exams in:

Calculus BC, psychology, Chemistry, Language, and Spanish literature

Honestly, I want to take intro to chem again in college. I’m afraid that if I place out, I’ll have to go straight to orgo! Same with calculus…

I also hate spanish literature and would rather not take the impossible AP exam!

…However, my teachers are borderline-forcing me to take them. Which ones should I take and take the risk of my teachers getting angry with me for not taking them? Should I take the chem? Language? Spanish?

What will these three colleges grant credit for?

Help! Thanks!

You really need to talk to the school that you are most interested in and find out their policy. As far as the teachers, they cannot force you to do anything you do not want to. On the other hand, you can take the Chemistry exam and still elect to take Chemistry again in college.

you should be able to find info online at each college website which AP tests they give credit for.

Almost every school will let you elect to retake a course, regardless of AP credit. Talk to the individual schools and see if that’s their policy.
Honestly, I would take them all, simply because you can get core reqs out of the way. If you REALLY want to drop one, drop chem because you’ll probably most likely want/need to take again. But I would definently take calc and lit, and spanish lit to fill an elective or core req.
Also, don’t worry about letting any teachers down. They can’t force you to do anything, and frankly, you might not ever see them again. Do what you want and need to do.

Thanks for your help guys

How did you apply to multiple EAs ? Don’t Georgetown and Boston college have Restrictive EA (Doesn’t this mean that you can’t apply to others’ EA prgorams) ?

They’re all Unrestricted

on collegeboard it says bc and georgetown is restricted. idk about notre dame. is that only for next years admissions cycle? im confused

Collegeboard claims that Notre Dame is unrestricted.
