Hello there, I’m an international students enrolled in a California community college. Since I finished the IGETC and required major courses, I applied to transfer to all the UCs with a GPA at 2.7. Btw, my major is CS. All the UCs rejected me, for sure, for my bad grades. So, what now? Definitely I want to transfer to UCs and continue my school. Should I keep moving and taking classes in CC? What courses can I still take when I finished all my major courses and IGETC. I have talked to my school counselor and she said the only way for me to raise my GPA is taking some useless courses and it helped just a little.(Since I have taken courses about 90 units) I cannot retake those classes which I got C.
Apply to transfer to less selective schools for CS this time around. Your 2.7 GPA may be competitive for the less or non impacted CSUs where CS is not an impacted major (but not for the more popular ones like CPSLO, SJSU, etc.).
If http://www.assist.org suggests that you need different courses for the various CSUs (oral communication may be one that CSUs require that UCs do not; CS prerequisites may be different for each campus), you may want to complete those at CC this year.
Here is the CSU impaction matrix. Apply to the campuses which are not impacted for CS.

the CSU that’s ‘local’ to your CC or to all of CA is probably your best option.
