I am taking the SAT on June 2nd. From what I have observed, I usually bomb the first CR section and do relatively better in the second and third section. So here is the question: Should I get up early in the morning to do a warmup CR section? My concern is that if I do not do well on the warmup section, I will very likely become traumatized and fall into despair. Someone help please? Get up early and do some warmup exercises or sleep till 6:30?

BUMPBUMPBUMP someone help please D:

I did nothing right before my test, as in the morning. Didn’t even look in my book or worry. The day before however, I memorized a bazillion words and reviewed grammar rules and nothing in math. I did think about essay examples on my way to the test center. Examples from classes such as history. Luckily what I had in mind fit into my essay, but that’s all the essay prep I did. Good luck son!

Thanks
I guess I will just get up at the regular time then.
Also, any suggestions for a good high-frequency word list to memorize the day before the exam? I don’t have a fantastic memory…400 is the max. number of words I can memorize in a day.
I also have my AP microeconomics free-response to write the day before the exam. Should I focus on SAT or should I shift my focus from SAT onto AP?

DO NOT study anything on the test day.

On Friday do not study anything new.It is enough to review the grammar notes and the vocab that you supposedly studied before and review your essay examples list.

For today you can memorize some of the words in the direct hits which has about 400 words, answer a full length practice test with correct time limits, and if you have time go over your mistakes.

hope that will work with you
