What should I do next?

I just received an acceptance letter from NJIT. Deadline for replying to acceptance is May 1. I want to wait till all the other universities send me their decision before replying to acceptance of NJIT. And I want to know about the financial aid and tuition fee of NJIT before making any decision. What should be my next move? Please give me details.

If you have applied to financial aid, you should wait to have your response. Tuition cost should be depicted on the university’s website; the total cost may vary due to dorms and books.

After deciding which college you will be attending, you should reply your acceptance with your final decision. After that, you’ll be guided by a plethora of instructions (probably displayed on the college’s website) that will basically teach you how to get there with all papers ready. First, you’ll be requested to pay for a registration fee (you’re looking at something about $200). Then, you might be able to choose a dormroom and should have access to the university’s students services (this may happen early depending on the college). At this point, you can have fast help through the phone if any doubt come up.

Additionally, you should receive a letter (through snail mail) from the colleges to which you were accepted that will better detail the “next steps” you’re asking for.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate this.
