What should I do now, as a Freshman?

I’m a Freshman in North Carolina, at Wayne School of Engineering.
I currently have a 5.25 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted. (Where 6.0 is the highest possible grade for AP, 5.0 is the highest for honors, and 4.0 is the highest for standard.)
My current classes are:
English I-Honors
Engineering the future-Honors
Writing 101-Honors
Applications of Science-Honors
World History-Honors
Algebra II-Honors
AP Computer Science AB- (AP)
AP Psychology- (AP)
Next semester my only change will be Pre-cal Honors instead of Algebra II honors.
Next year I’m not sure what other classes I’ll take, but for AP I’ll take:
AP Statistics & AP Calculus BC. I’ll also apply to Harvard Secondary for summer '09.
Which means I could be an AP scholar with distinction. (If I also take AP CS A exam, and AP Calculus AB exam.)
And I’ll probably have taken 3 SAT subject test by my Sophomore year.
I’m currently 1 out of 86 at a school where you have to be accepted. (I won’t call it a magnet school, because it only accepts students from my county.) My school started 3 weeks ago, so ranking isn’t that hard yet. But only one other student is taking an AP class, and he’s only taking one.
I’ve been doing Tae Kwon Do for many years, and am almost a blackbelt. I’ll also be on the Mayor’s Youth Council this year. I’ve volunteered with NAMI and have taken their 12 week education program, I’ve made the frontpage of the local newspaper, I’ve been recognized by the county board of education for attending a model UN in NYC. And I recently came in 4th in my first scrabble Tourney. (Probably making me ranked around 40th in the state.)
Pretty soon I should be an NSA Scrabble Club director, and probably vice-president of TSA, and probably president of Science Olympiad. (Both at the individual club level.)
And even if I get into NCSSM (North Carolina School of Mathematics and Science.) & Harvard Secondary and do well, and make National AP Scholar, I feel I’d probably only be a 8/3 at Harvard. (In academic/EC, out of a possible 9/9.)
So what should I do now, as a freshman?

Pax et bonum,
James Crowe

It sounds like SATs/GPA will not be issues for you. Your ECs are pretty weak and you need to focus on one thing you’re particulary good at and excel. That and good recs et al will give you a good shot.

how do you have a GPA/rank if you are a freshman?

But I’m not sure what I can find to do with what I’m good at. Not many clubs around here… maybe I should just run for a local political office.
ECs are hard for me, I’ll have to do some research.

Because I’ve been in school for 3 weeks. Grades=GPA, GPA=GPA, GPA determines rank. Besides the fact that I took Geometry over the summer and made a 5.0 in it. (Therefore if uncompleted classes don’t count, I’m the only one in the school with a GPA. If they do, then I have a .2222222… lead over everyone except one person, whom I have a .08-.222222…+ lead on.)

I didn’t figure out everything in that.
I have a 5.2 GPA counting uncompleted classes, and the #2 has a 5.14 including uncompleted classes. I may sign up for AP CS A so that I have a 5.27 including uncompleted classes. (You start out with the highest GPA possible for a class, and they change it from there. At least that’s how it goes at my school. )
