I’m in semester 5 and so far my gpa has been 86,04 which is 3.0 or B average in american standard. I can speak german pretty fluently and I’m thinking to take a test to test my german fluency in hope to add my value and I’m also planning to take programming and piano class to add my value. would all of them help?
The German test would. Take the subject test when it’s offered. You could also take the English subject test.
Are you attending a us school? Canadian? In another country?
(86 is not very good in the us. It’s good enough you can go to college, but not a very selective college.)
What sort of curriculum are you pursuing? IB? AP? A levels? Bac? Highers? DEC? CBSE?..
However at this point top 40 universities/LACs are out of reach since they wouldn’t expect someone who takes up x or z activity Junior year but someone who’s been involved in the activity for a long time and has won prizes.
You CAN start on an activity, you can have a job, you can volunteer, but mostly continue the activities you’ve been doing so far, pushing them so you make a difference on other people’s life or have an impact on your school or community.
