What should I do to improve my chances?

<p>I’m going to be a senior and I’ve really fallen in love with this school, but I know that I might not have what it takes to get accepted…What do you think? How could I improve my chances?</p>

<p>Most of my extra-curriculars involve music or theatre. I’ve been playing the violin since 4th grade, and hope to minor in music.</p>

<p>This summer I am also in a string quartet that meets once every week for 2 hours.</p>

<p>SAT scores: 1960 total (I’m taking them again in the fall)
Reading: 690
Math: 580 (ugh)
Writing: 690</p>

<p>SAT II scores will be here on Monday.</p>

<p>As for grades, I have a 4.114 GPA (weighted), and I rank 47/395. These numbers may improve after including in this past school year. I’ve taken all honors/AP courses since freshman year, except for my last 2 math courses.</p>

<p>Okay, I’ve gotten my SAT II results, and they definitely are NOT as good as I had hoped for. Here they are, incase they change any opinions…</p>
