My senior year presents its challenges, I want to pursue a rigorous course and work as CO-OP instead of doing EMT, in college im looking to pursue a business path so my medical classes won’t help me anymore. My main concern is with the classes I am signed up to take. Is it worth it to be this hard on myself? I do have trouble with English and it is my first English Honors course. Also I am selected to remain the President of the Student Council club and be more involved with it. My main goal for the year is getting my culture club started where students can join and attend a monthly meeting where one culture is focused on. (Food and activities will help the learning process)

So should I keep going and adding things to my plate? I received a 1680 on the SATS the first time and I am taking it again aiming much higher. Starting the club is not intended to look great on college apps but if it helps it would be great. The question is will it matter this late in the game? What should my plan be? I am confused on the path I should take.

You do know that there are many businesses where a medical background will be very useful. I wouldn’t consider those courses wasted.

I would take the classes that you want to take and craft your college plans around that. It’s always good to stretch yourself, but not to the point that you set yourself up for failure. That’s something only you can know. You can a perfectly viable candidate for lots of great schools whatever you opt for.
