I am applying Early Action to James Madison, UVA, Michigan, and Harvard.

I scored a 2110 on the SAT (680 CR, 700 M, 730 W), but a 35 on the ACT (35 E, 36 M, 35 R, 32 S).

I want to try to retake my SAT, but am taking the SAT II’s in October, thus I will have to do it in November. Should I just leave the SAT off of my application until I apply to my RD schools?

Colleges treat the SAT and ACT as equals, so unless you think you can get a 2400 the next time you take your SAT, I think the advice you will get on here is to pretend like you never even took the SAT.

I think I read somewhere that Harvard is going to be Single Choice EA (meaning you can’t apply EA or ED anywhere else). I’m not 100% positive, so check it out.

Unless a school requires you to report ALL scores, I’d probably just report the ACT. Congrats on that!!!

Harvard is SCEA, however there website explicitly states that one can apply EA to any other public institution. I also called and confirmed this with their admissions office. Thanks for the concern though!
