i dont have any idea what to do… im 19 i graduated high school in 2009 but i was wondering what some people think i should do, i had alot of issues in high school, it was very stressful, my dad has been on oxygen and cant do a thing, hes been sick since i was in 3rd grade, my freshman year got cancer survived then it came back and spread she died recently and i want to go to school so i can make more then minimum wage but i cant not work and go to school because id lose money if i dropped hours and i need money for rent and electricity so i went back to take my acts because my only way to go to school and get a degree is a four year school, im horrible on taking tests i have bad anxiety in real life not to mention test anxiety and i got a composite score of 16. i cant go back and take it again because im sure ill do just as bad like always, this test system is really a horrible way to decide who gets into college, but what should i do whats a good route to a four year school with my situation?

Start at a community college first. Once you establish some good grades (and get the basics out of the way at a more affordable cost) you can transfer to a four year school.
Good luck.

I agree with what the other people have said. My only advice is to aim high… everything is possible if you try… If you dont have the time to study you could find a program that will let you take classes online or at night! Go to your local community college and tell them what’s going on, they should be able to give you more information.
Good luck!

Do understand that in college, your grades are primarily based on tests. So no matter what you do, you need to somehow work through that test anxiety; you don’t want to get into college just to then flunk out.

good point its not that i dont know the material, how do i explain i freeze up and cant get into where i can like a normal worksheet its weird.
