Not sure if this is the right place for this
I asked my math teacher to write a recommendation letter to HSHSP. He said he was happy to do it, but asked that I write a resume. What things would you suggest including in the resume?
I would suggest classes taken (with grades & teacher), any extracurricular math & science activities & competitions, and anything else you would like someone to know about you. This is not a formal job resume but, I assume, a sheet to help him with background recommendation so he can write a good letter. D’s high school college counselor had the students (& parents) write a “brag sheet” that he could to get a full picture of the student.
My brag sheet includes basically all of my club involvements (because they’re all STEM related, save climbing and German, and climbing shows creative problem solving and hard work and all that) plus my awards (STEM again, whoops), work experience (climbing again. Not much variation in my life, I guess), and (brief) academic history (like classes, AP scores, PSAT/ACT/SAT, etc).
