What should I realistically expect?

Just finished junior year. 4 As, a B+, and a B AP Bio). 3 APs taken this year, so weighted GPA is 4.05. Cumulative GPA as it stands after 3 years of high school is 4.06. Unweighted GPA is 3.92. AP Euro score last year was 4. This year-waiting. So far all A’s in high school except these 2. 4 Aps taken so far. 4 more in senior year. Total 8.

Extra-Curriculars: Model UN, NSLC, Piano, Anti-Defamation League, PEP club, Key club, French club, tennis and swimming for fun, creative writing, volunteering at a local retirement community (almost all of my community service comes from here), writing camp for autistic children, pet shelter, downtown planting trees, video programming and covering school sports on video.

Awards and honors: French Honor Society, Eng Honor Society, French National Exam (state and national ranking), French film and video-making awards, National Beta Club.

SAT: 1990. Taking it again, and ACT for the 1st time this summer.

Shooting for some solid schools. Intended major: probably Bio. No Ivy League ambitions.

Could anyone rate my chances in some good mid-grade schools?

  1. Need a list of schools you are interested in applying or some more definite parameters other than Mid-grade schools? Location/Private/Public/Large/Small etc…
  2. How much can you and your family afford? Need numbers$$$
  3. Home State?

A rough list of probable public/pvt. schools in GA and close by states. No too large. Family can afford both public/pvt. in the $15,000-$30,000 range. Home state:GA. Am eligible for Hope/Zellmiller Scholarships if in-state.

Thank you for your interest. Looking for some good advice.
