What should I set as goals to be accepted to a Med School

<p>I am going to do Pre Med w/ an economics major at James Madison, and I want to know what should be some goals I should have as far as GPA, and the MCAT. When should I take the test, and when I should take my Pre-Med classes.</p>

<p>GPA- as close to a 4.0 as possible
MCAT- over 30</p>

<p>You should take the MCAT no later than the summer (spring?) session of your junior year. If you take it earlier, then you’ll have the chance to retake it if you are not satisfied with your score.</p>
