<p>My guidance counselor asked me what sort of EC I wanted included in the comments section. Should I ask him to highlight a few, or mention everything I did? Will colleges trust my own self-reported ECs if my counselor just highlights a few?</p>
<p>That really depends. If you do anything long term or in depth, it should be included. If you just go to a club meeting once in awhile, then consider editing for focus.</p>
<p>Like, if you are on 3 varsity teams, mention it. If you also do science fieldwork, put it in. If you are honor cabinet, dorm prefect, and all that, put it in. If you edit the Lit journal, put that in. If you go attend a club once in a while, leave it out.</p>
