My daughter’s been accepted at CUA’s Benjamin T. Rome School of Music with a substantial scholarship, Boston Conservatory with a scholarship, Hartt with a scholarship and Manhattan School of Music with no scholarship (of course). Which would be the best school for vocal performance as she wants to study opera? She is academically a very good student;1350 SATS, 3.9 GPA, AP’s but wants a conservatory. She applied to Carnegie and was accepted as a Humanities major and Skidmore as a music major if she goes the academic route.
