What sites offer the cheapest prices on laptops?

I know Fry’s and Newegg have great deals, any other sites that offer good prices? If they offer student discounts which lower their prices to equal or below that of Fry’s and Newegg, I’d like to know as well.

Don’t forget Amazon and TigerDirect, and check the individual manufacturer websites (eg. Dell, Lenovo, HP, and Sony).

Search up coupon codes!

Bump? I’m thinking about buying an Asus and am wondering which site would be the best.

I usually get all my tech gear from Newegg. They offer great customer service, so it’s worth the sometimes-higher price. My Asus UL30A came from there as well.

If you just want the lowest price, period, simply use the Shopping search on Google, then sort by lowest price. It hasn’t failed me yet!

If you’re thinking of a mobile Asus laptop though, I’d hold off until August. The U35JC is due out then, and it’s has a fully-fledged, non-ULV i5 CPU and a Geforce G310M GPU, yet also has an integrated GPU for battery life and boasts a battery life of 11 hours advertised in a body very similar to the UL30A. The price point of the 13.3" is set to be $899, while the price point of the 14.1" is set to be $999.
