Not wishing to high jack the thread about what’s on the counter…what small appliances so you own.
I am trying to put these in order of use!! And preference.

I’m feeling less than adequate in the small appliances department -
Fancy espresso/latte machine -used every day
4 cup coffee maker -used daily
Convection/toaster over - used daily when kids are home
Electric can opener
Blender
Wine opener - received as gift just this summer, right before our favorite wine went to screw caps
kitchen aid stand mixer - used maybe once a month, more certain times of year
Waffle maker - was used often for years, mbut adult kids are eaton getter now
Hand held mixer - not used in years, “but I may need it soon”
Crockpot - asked for gift maybe 8 years ago. Still unopened. in attic. Keep saying I plan to use it.
Smoothie maker - purchased as family gift maybe 10 years ago, still unopened, in attic.
My list of small electric kitchen appliances is pretty small:
Nespresso maker
Regular coffee maker
Milk frother
Toaster
Cuisinart
Mini-chopper thingie that doesn’t work. Just threw it away.
KitchenAid mixer
Hand-held mixer (use it WAY more than the KitchenAid)
Electric kettle
Rice maker (never, ever use)
Blender
Hand-held immersion blender
Just found a small individual smoothie blender in my pantry. Have no idea where it came from. Maybe a house guest left it?
Now that I’ve done this inventory, I’ll probably give away the rice cooker since I never use it. Don’t particularly want that smoothie blender either but I feel weird giving it away when someone might ask for it back.
Toaster
Toaster oven
Microwave
Coffee grinder (my husband insists on grinding his own beans)
Espresso machine
Milk frother
10-cup coffeemaker (for when we have guests); usually use a French press or individual drip filter
Magic Bullet blender
Cuisinart food processor
Hand-held electric mixer
Mini-chopper
Immersion blender
Crockpot
The top four items are used the most often, with all of the others being used only occasionally.
Waring bar blender (both the 50th and 60th anniversary editions). Used regularly for salad dressing or anything that needs to be emulsified more than I can accomplish with a whisk.
And the rest are rarely, if ever, used:
Vitamix (went from daily Smoothie use to never touched). Should whip up a batch of margaritas, now that I am thinking of it.
Small hand mixer
Coffee maker, for when overnight guests want coffee.
All-Clad electric griddle (fancy, overpriced and underused, but was great for making pancakes)
Kitchen Aid stand mixer (buried in pantry)
Cusinart (it has not been out in years)
Cusinart mini-chop (also years)
Three knives and three wood cutting boards are the most-used kitchen items, along with a small colander.
Blender
Mixer
Microwave
Food processor (almost never used)
Coffee maker
Microwave
Crockpot
Smaller mixer (almost never used)
Coffee grinder (freshly ground is definitely better)
Toaster
I think we have a rarely-used handheld immersion blender also
I’ve got a Keurig and a toaster that are both used every day. A food processor is used when I make deviled eggs or curry chicken dip. And a soda stream for club soda used intermittently. That’s pretty much it for small appliances.
Oh wait I forgot the microwave which is built in so doesn’t seem like a small appliance and we do have a crock pot that lives in the basement and is brought up once in a while to make curried chicken.
4-slice toaster
Microwave
Clock radio
Luxo lamp over stove
Crockpot
Grinder for coffee beans
Grinder for spices
Classic blender
Ninja blender (which DD just destroyed)
Food processors - big, med., & mini
Big stand mixer
Shaved-ice maker
Ice cream maker
Forman grill
And even though I’ve been planning to purge my house of unneeded items, I don’t think I want to give away any of these…even if some are aspirational (when was the last time I made ice cream?!)
toaster
toaster oven
nutri bullet
breville juicer
pasta machine
kitchen aide mixer
cuisine art food processor
mini version of above

dehydrator

crockpot (which may or may not get passed along due to Instant Pot!)
toaster oven
Foreman grill
Hand mixer
basic coffee maker (though I usually french press for myself)
