what test combination is good?

I need help urgently. I have to write the SAT1, ACT and SAT2 before the end of January next year, so I planned to write Dec ACT, Dec SAT2(math2,phy,chem) and Jan SAT1. My plan was to use ACT and SAT2 to apply to schools that want SAT2 and the Jan SAT1 to schools that do not.also, I havn’t taken any of the tests before. The problem is, I think the Jan SAT1 would almost be a waste since many schools that don’t require SAT2 have the Dec testing deadline(if I’m wrong, please tell me).
My question is, should I take SAT1,ACT in Dec and SAT2 in Jan or SAT2, ACT in Dec and SAT1 in Jan?
Also, do you think a month is enough to prep(without a teacher) for either combination?

plus, I did a dummy exam,ACT piece of cake,SAT2 phy 780, math2 780, chem 640(don’t know why its low).
My SAT1 math is good, but I have little problems with CR and vocab. And I have a month to prep for either one.
Should I focus on SAT2 and ACT for Dec and leave a month to SAT1 in Jan or do ACT and SAT1 in Dec and develop my chemistry?

Your SAT I or ACT will be more important than your SAT IIs in most cases, so I’d study for those most. Your physics and math2 scores are great, so you could just take those two tests and just not take chemistry if you really had to.

I would suggest studying english for your SAT I and ACT. Go over grammar rules, and try and get down some strategies for critical reading (always my lowest score) and for your essay.

Good luck!

Thanks. But, those scores were from my very first try. I hadn’t even seen a practice test before then. My main point is, should I do SAT1 and ACT in Dec or SAT2 and ACT in Dec.
Doing SAT1 and ACT in Dec allows me to read for both simultaneously, since they both have similar sections. But this would mean having only a month to prep for both.
Alternatively, if I do SAT2 and ACT in Dec, I’ll have about 1.8months to prep for SAT1 alone. Am really confused because I heard that many schools do not accept Jan SAT1.
What should I do?
