What the heck is business economics?

ucsb is my 4th choice but it is looking like my school very quickly…

i want to be a business major but the closest thing they had was business economics.

my question is:

what the heck is business economics??

i dont want to be stuck in a room listening to theory all day long

Bumppppppppp

Bus Econ is theory, but if you also do the emphasis in Accounting you’ll get more of the hands-on. Good luck.

Trust me, all Business majors are taught based on theories. Just go to ITT Tech if you just want hands-on. BusEcon mainly focuses on the the economic side of business. You take a lot of econ classes like Micro and Macro. You’ll be required to take 3 accounting classes as well. Check out this site www.econ.ucsb.edu Look for the major you’re interested in and check out the upper division classes. If they’re coded use google, e.g. “UCSB Econ 101”.

so what about a business managment or a business adminstration major? are they more hands on?

All business majors are based on theories. Unless you have emphasis in bartering market everything is pretty much theories heheh
