Me too.

We have: football food until 3 ish. Break. Appetizers and champagne around 6ish. Dinner is at 7:3ish. My table is very formal. We however dress in jeans and t-shirts…formal people wear nice pans and shirt. Best part? Dessert. I buy the basic pies…lemon tart and macaroons…and banana pudding and something else obscene. I then pass out and w. One holiday I woke up at 7 in the morning…in our den with three other people. Went shopping…
Hah, I shampooed all the carpets last week then hid our clutter in my bedroom. Thanksgiving dinner started last Saturday when D got home and my parents arrived and will last until Monday morning.
Officially, this year at least, nephew lands at Seatac at 1 and S1 needs to be at marching band practice by 4, so the turkey will hit the table about 2:30. Dessert won’t be served until about 9:30 or so.
Whenever the the food is ready.
Champagne and light hors d’oeuvres at noon with dinner at 3 pm.
We used to eat around 3 or 4 but my parents are older and prefer not to drive in the dark so this year we skewed everything earlier and will eat closer to 1 or 2. Guess I’ll need to get up early to get that big turkey in the oven!
Whatever time works best for a family is the time when that family’s Thanksgiving dinner should be.
3 p.m. I want one and only one meal that day. Amen.
Guests will arrive at about 1pm. After appetizers and cocktails, Turkey will be on the table about 2. It will be in the oven by 8:3-9AM tomorrow. Table is set and stuffing is made.
Loving reading how everyone celebrates in different ways at different times.
Also learning we don’t imbibe nearly enough
Turkey went in at 9:30 so we will eat around two. My husband’s goal is to time the main meal so that he has time to get hungry enough for a turkey sandwich before bed. It’s not Thanksgiving for him without the sandwich.
That’s also my plan. My daughter is working this evening!
We are at 2:00.
Just finished our Thanksgiving “feast” before 3:00 pm. I think we started at 1:30 pm. (It costs us two persons $26 including the tips - about $22 before tax and tips.)
^ Correction: It was slightly less than $20 before tax and tips, $22 after tax, and then added $4 for tips. No turkey.
My side of the family always did Thanksgiving Dinner at 2 pm, so I tended to follow that trend.
It allows plenty of time for food to digest to make room for PIE!
Dinner was at 4:30 (served 30 min late due to grill outage). Then we nibbled… and just finished chocolates and port while watching Inside Out! Our neuroscience major kid approved of the movie.

Our neighbors set it a 1 pm. Later she had Wedding Soup.
Noon today. One sibling went to see her ex-MIL yesterday; another had a meal with his spouse’s family.
Typically if everything is made that day, pies in the AM to turkey going in after, it takes me most of the day to get it together. 4:30 arrival for guests, 5:30 eating. This year I worked, and the Ds and boyfriends were cooking. We like cooking so it was quite a feast. However, being young, their timing was not quite on spot. We ate around 7, relaxed by the fire for a while and dessert was around 10 PM. Everyone but me was under 30!
