What time would you start party?

Thanks to all who helped with my pervious question about what to serve. I’ve decided to do heavy appetizers, and desserts. The heaviest being mini beef tenderloin sandwiches that we will make ourselves.

We will be having about 20+ people. 5 have to leave at dinner time for awhile, but will probably be back but who knows, so I want to accommodate them and not have it begin early evening. Hopefully others will stay as long As they like. At first I thought 3:00pm, but that seems so early and an odd time. I’m reconsidering 4:00. What time would you start?

How about split the difference and go for 3:30. I guess I would err on 3:30 or 4 because you never know how long people are going to stay and 3 to late is hard on you to be in the party mode. :wink:

Missed your earlier thread, but if it is intended to be firmly an afternoon thing, start at 2. If it is meant to go into at least the early evening and substitute for dinner if people choose–and that’s what it sound like–start at 4.
