<p>I was deferred ED, wait-listed RD. I already sent in a letter expressing my interest in Rice (my first choice) and another teacher recommendation (this was back in February). Now, the letter I received says I can add to my file again, expressing interest and telling them of spring-term accomplishments.</p>
<p>I will send in a transcript with my third-quarter grades included (I made all A’s again). Also, I was accepted to Plan II at UT, so I believe that I am a strong enough candidate to deserve admission to Rice. I think the Book Essay I wrote for Plan II was really great, and may be what pushed me over the top. Would it be a good idea to send that to Rice as a writing sample to have them review? And should I write another letter expressing interested?
