what to do about the letters of recommendation?

here is what happened, i originally planned on going to graduate school. Took the test, got my first letter of recommendation, but then got a great job offer which i took. Then foolishly didnt get any other letters of recomendation.

Well, here i am several months later(graduated in december) getting laid off.

Most schools require 2-3 letters of recommendation. I have one. What should i do?

Your profs a semester ago will still remember you. Just figure out your best choices and email them (assuming you are too far away to ask in person). This short a separation should not be a problem.

Also, if you have trouble lining up profs you may want to consider a former senior coworker or manager, assuming the layoff was not performance-based.
