In case I really get rescinded, will i have a place to study? I can only send enrollment deposit to only one college.

Why would you get rescinded??

Rescinding admission is a very very big deal, and there are basically only two ways you can get rescinded:

1) doing so poorly during the second semester (they already know your first semester grades and would have warned you if they were not good enough) that you end up failing a few classes

2) lying on your application (which would have probably been discovered by now if they were suspicious

So again, there is no need to worry if you haven’t done anything terribly wrong.

CC shows u are part of the stanford network

stanford takes senior grades very seriously
if your admission was rescinded, you should contact your respective admissions officer

3) disciplinary actions taken against you (suspened, expelled, arrested, etc.)

…why would you be rescinded…? Stanford only rescinded the acceptance of four kids last year.

I’ve been admitted through REA early reading in October for sports. But this semester(my first senior semester) I had all B’s(taking 3 AP classes, 2 of which were 80’s). I am concerned because last year I had straights A’s (1 AP and 1 Honors). My GPA last semester was an 88.25 and my GPA last year was 94.64. Is this too large of a drop or am I ok?

Also I’ve had B’s my freshman and sophomore year so I’m not a complete straight A student. And please don’t play the “your an athlete” card because my letter says the same thing that everyone else does about academic performance.

To put my mind at ease, can someone with real experience or knows someone that has gone through tho situation please give me some feedback? Thanks

As other CCers have already told you on other threads, it’s doubtful that Stanford would rescind your admission offer because you got Bs. However, there’s really only one way to put your mind at ease, and it’s not by continually reviving old CC threads or even by starting a new CC thread. The only people who can actually answer your question are in the Stanford admissions office, so call or email them and ask. It’s not as if you’ll be revealing something to the admissions officers that they won’t find out anyway, since your school will be sending your mid-year report in any event.
