<p>Dad told me point blank yesterday that I either have to take loans (which I don’t want to do) or go to a SUNY (I live in NY state). Private colleges are basically not an option, partly because I have two twin sisters in college right now. He doesn’t really think we are eligible for financial aid, because apparently we make too much money.
I’m a pretty good student (school doesn’t rank but I’m probably in top 5%) at a private school with decent ECs (editor of newspaper and yearbook, president and founder of french club [my french teacher and i are working on revitalizing the french program at out school], mock trial and varsity debater).
Is it financially feasible for me to attend a private college through scholarships and such? What should I exactly be doing now?</p>
