What can I do in the first two years of college if I want to transfer to a top university?
Since the uni I would most like to transfer to requires SAT results, I will retake it and try to get above 1550 (I only took SAT once and got 1450). My GPA is rather low, around 93, I doubt I can bring it up now. But I will aim for 3.8+ in uni for sure.
However, other than that, I don’t know what I can do to impress universities. I have a lot of extracurriculars (MUN, five languages, over a decade of piano, editor of a school mag, published writer, created my own club, entrepreneurship clubs, organization team membership of lots of events) but I don’t know if they will be useful after two years of uni.
I didn’t apply to any top 100 unis although my stats aren’t terrible and I kind of regret it now. I would definitely like to try transferring. Can you recommend any extracurriculars or anything I can do in order to transfer to a top university? There are not many opportunities in the universities I applied to and I am an international student as well but I will try to do as many things as possible.
