Long story short, I changed from a business major to a kinesiology major over Christmas break and had to drop every class except Humanites (my last core class). I am now trying to register for classes for my new major and it turns out they are all full and have waiting lists of 20+ people. I’m already a semester or two behind now because of this major change and if I can’t get into any classes I need then I will be even more behind. Does anyone relate to this and/or know what I can do?
Email your new adviser and see what they say. My professors have been able to write an override and I was able to get into filled up classes. Also just register for electives for your major now and just watch for openings during the add/drop week. At my school that period is 2 weeks and most professors try not to teach a lot since they don’t know who is staying and who is going.
