It has been since the 1st that I turned them in. For both Princeton and UVA. Due to some payment availability issues, my parents could not pay from their cards until the 1st. Then the payment did not go through and we had to redo it with a different card. Then when I previewed my documents and there were question marks in between each space, so I had to manually go and delete every single one on every single essay. And by the time I had submitted it was 12:02. Then I wasn’t sure if it was worth it even submit the other parts so I looked it up and decided to do so, so both apps were turned in on the 2nd. It shows that they have been downloaded though. Should I still say something? Will they still be considered? I feel as if I am a relatively strong candidate, there was definitely some procrastination involved, but also a fair amount of bad luck.
A private school dean told me deadlines are soft; they want to see all top applicants. Of course, it eventually gets too late in the process to be considered, but it’s early now.
You can contact admissions and confirm. I’d especially ask at UVA, publics can be stricter about these things.
