Hi, so since you can’t really apply to multiple summer programs at a time and reject them if you get in like colleges (or so my guidance counselor told me), I only applied to a few Engineering summer programs.
However I got rejected from them
which sucks.
I was wondering what I should do over the sumer that would help demonstrate my engineering interest, if all applications for programs are closed now?
Would it be okay for me to take college classes online?

Although technically the applications are closed for Operation Catapult at Rose-Hulman, you might contact them. Their program is set up so they may be able to squeeze a few more participants in. Assuming your parents are willing to pay (it isn’t a super pricey program compared to some), give them a call on Monday and ask if they will accept a late application.

I think you got bad advice, and that is unfortunate. Why wouldn’t you apply to multiple programs? Many are more selective than college admissions.
