What to do if your parents are threatening to kick you out of the house?

Reasons why I have to put up with my parents and live in their house.
1)They won’t let me move out because they won’t pay or even let me take out a loan for any type of housing.
2)They will also only pay for the local state college
3)Getting a job that pays 7 bucks an hour won’t get me anywhere near the 17K that I would need for college/dorm if I ever did want to move out.

So yeah…I’ll be living in this pseudo hell for another 4 years. But honestly living there is better than living on the street…I just want to get a normal college education and I feel live trying to live on my own (permanently) without any of their help won’t allow me to do that.

“■■■■■.^^ that was a fail…whoever posted that”

That would be me… it’s not like I did it. These were college students at Tahoe, and I think Mendocino. It was assumed the Tahoe kids where cold ( but probably not as cold as Montaa in February) and accidentally fell asleep. They were looking for work. Failed at what? Understanding some kids behavior? Got THAT right!

Yeah, I know… stay away from High School Life… resolved.

But before I go: moodrets, would you agree that camping out or sloping in your car is not ALWAYS as safe as sleeping in your bed? Wouldn’t it at least matter where you “live”?

Okay, bye.

You can crash at my house! I have an extra room! =]

Pack your bags and don’t tell her where you’ve gone. After a few days she’ll be worried about you. If you do it for longer she’ll feel terribly guilty about making the threat, and when you actually come back (in a couple weeks) she’ll never want to kick you out again.

But hey, each family’s different so it might not work.

This is how 9th graders get arrested.

Totally not true.

Anyway, you should just move out, and it is RIDICULOUS to stay at home and commute for four years… surely you could find another school to go to that you could afford on your own, there are, um, lots of cheap state schools.

…so she won’t fall asleep in a car with the engine on. for a night.

“Yeah, I know… stay away from High School Life… resolved.”

wth? u don’t even go to high school…

walk out and show ur not afraid!

ThisCouldbeheaven: it’s called a joke!

It is indeed.

My mom is exactly the same. When she flips out I just call a friend to pick me up (or ride my motorcycle over if I have to get out immediately) and I just spend the night at a friend’s. Don’t be embarrased by your friends knowing, it doesn’t make you look bad, it just makes your mom look like a crazy b lol.
