<p>I got denied from a summer program that I applied for at the last second due to finding out the day of the deadline (lol, but really not). </p>
<p>SO, I am left in a situation where I do not know what to do for summer. I’m considering doing the Intel STS, but I don’t really know what to do. I am interested in both science (medicine) and finance. My parents work at a pharmaceutical company and they led me to one of their connections to do research in a lab, but that fell through. Also, I called up someone I used to “work” for over at a hedgefund but they split up and there is no room for a highschooler (16). </p>
<p>Now, I don’t know what to do. I can probably work at a hospital, but I’m sure there is something “Better” I can do for college admission.</p>
<p>What can you guys recommend?</p>
<p>I am interested in science and finance and am going into my Junior year of HS next year. </p>
