<p>I have a son who is a spring admit to college. I am just curious what other students in a similar situation are planning to do when they have the Fall between high school and college off. Right now my son is planning to work and then take late Nov./Dec. to travel.</p>

<p>Sounds like a reasonable plan to me. Is there a problem with it?</p>
<p>That sounds like a decent plan. Some other students take some GE courses at the local CC. Some students also end up getting lucky and get bumped from Spring to the prior Fall entry.</p>
<p>He could work take college classes in Denmark from early August to early January. That would be an adventure.

<p>During college application time last fall, I had thought that if my daughter got spring admittance to college, we could let her have an inexpensive “adventure” for fall semester by having her go live with a relative in another state and take community college classes there rather than here in our home town.</p>
