What to do? What to do?

After a few days of assessing my application to boarding schools, I’ve finally faced the fact that I’m what they call a living worse-case scenario: Asian, needs basically full financial aid, first time with the whole process, fairly good SSATs but not perfect, and not many impressive hooks.

I really really really really want to apply next year, but am skeptical about my chances… Anybody have any thoughts on that?  :frowning:   :(

apply next year with me!!!

I agree with hopeful  You never know what will happen and you still have the essays to show schools where you can shine. I applied two years ago with and 89% for SSAT and not a lot of stuff going on that points me out same as you, but here i am now at Choate  Give it a go. Never know until you try! Oh, and start early xD don’t wait until Winter Break to start essays :P

And study, study, study . . . and then retake the SSAT!

Haha azulhearts. Thats what I did this year with the essays! (only later…)

I’m in the same situation. Well I’m applying for the first time this year. Welcome! Applicants of 2011!

Your name…BobTheCow - TomTheCat. Haha~

I get that a lot…

2010 hopefull why are you applying for next year there is still a ton of school accepting students and there is still alot of FA to go around apply to a school with rolling admissions
