I saw Leonard Cohen a while back in LV and the most obnoxious people were all older, at least 30% of these people were filming the whole thing on their various phones. I say older because in my 40s, we were the youngsters. I was really shocked at how rude these people were, the man is a bloody poet. All the lights from the phones was so tacky. I was mostly surprised that they were allowed to do it, I am pretty sure other artists shut that stuff down. Anyway, this was not about young folk, it was about the stupidity of not enjoying the moment. Old people and their facebook status LOL.
Ha ha, my 19 year old daughter and her friends are big Leonard Cohen fans and have been to several of his concerts. So there are some younger fans in the audience!

Loud, inconsiderate drunks are the reason I no longer like buy tickets to see concerts at the local winery… Sigh.
I’m with Miss Manners. The evil eye simply doesn’t work, but honey usually does. And the quicker you nip it in the bud the happier you’ll be.
The only concerts I ever seem to go to are ones that are so loud, you can’t talk.
I’m not too worried about it. It just doesn’t happen enough at places where the content is so important that it’s worth making a scene. And, there’s always someone around you with less self-control who is willing to do it first.
^Or someone who’s not such a weenie. JK. Kind of. 
In any population of people I think you need to allow for the possibility that there might be both kinds present.
