Christians believe God made the world in 6 days…can I learn chemistry in 6 days?

I haven’t studied at all yet. I have a 100 in the class (Average grade is around 88). I am good at applying formulas, but I don’t know much theory.

How should I plan my studying? I want to get at least a 4. I was thinking read 3 chapters in the review book each day and take a two whole practice tests. I’d also do a few frqs.

Sound good? Any advice? Thanks

Know the different possible problem types, do A LOT of practice problems and previous AP questions

Maybe know the explanations for various chemical processes – theres a lot of explaining and understanding required for many problems on the AP

Ive realized that just knowing how to apply formulas screws you over, especially on the AP

Review problems you have gotten wrong previously and try to establish all your fundamental chemistry concepts (rules, trends, exceptions to the rules, formulas, empirical observations, reaction mechanisms) know them well!

Hope this helps~ : )

Good luck on the AP Exam!

Hey Beta_Fist, I’m in a similar situation. When I studied for my AP Chem final (which was an AP practice test), I studied by skimming over major concepts in my textbook and reviewing an AP prep book. I didn’t even have time to do any practice problems, and I managed a 4. So I would say at least make sure you know all the concepts and formulas, and then if you have time spend a day or two practicing problems. Either way, I’m sure you’ll do great.

Thanks to both of you! I’ve just started reading my prep book from the beginning…i hope to finish it by Monday, and then do a practice test then. :)
