I’ve been living the summer in the apartments (meaning I cook my own food, and clean my living quarters–kitchen/bathroom/living room/etc). Unfortunately, the food problem is starting to get to me. Since I have to make all my own meals (I try not to eat out too much), this means that I’ve been forced to eat my own bland cooking. I have a extremely fast metabolism, but since I’ve been on my own its changed, I think. I have a LOT smaller desire for food, even when I do go out. I tend to eat less. However, I am not loosing weight and I still regularly go to the gym to lift weights/run. Even after work-outs I tend to not be very hungry.

Its like a guy who drools when he see’s an attractive girl, but after a while he just doesn’t even make a reaction when passed by hot girls…

I also noticed I’m not eating very much fruits and veggies. Is this the problem? I’m eating lots of rice/chicken and beef. I’m thinking that its b/c I don’t eat enough fruits/veggies!

This is totally strange to me since I LOVED gorging on food in the dorms. It makes me sad to type this. =(

Also, would it make more sense to eat smaller, but more frequently? I think I threw off my body b/c I tell myself to finish the plate of food so I wont’ go hungry later (I don’t have time to make 4-5 small meals, so I try to eat more at each of the 3 meals).

Try to increase your amount of fruits and vegtables. Also are you intaking large amounts of water ( or liquid in general), perhaps you shouldn’t drink before all your meals. You could also be taking supplments that could be affecting your immune system in a way reducing your urge to eat. There are a ton of likely causes, such as sport drinks that are high in sugar, and give you high energy. Maybe even something in your environment, such as air freshners causing your lack of interest in eating.
