What to do with Cornell Acceptence letter?

What would you do with your Cornell Acceptence letter?

I would frame it and hang it on my wall.

i would do the same, but i would also have it blown up to about poster size and buy about 20-30 copies. I would then proceed to wallpaper my room with them, as well as tape them to my car windows and windows in my house. Additionally, I think I’d have the image printed on a tshirt, mug, mousepad, and get a keychain of it. I considered a tattoo of the image, but I haven’t made up my mind on that yet…

Oh I was thinkin about this again, and I think I’d also make like 6000 copies and give one to everyone I encountered.

HAHAHHAHAHAHA I think I would take the 6000 copies and plaster them around all the colleges I applied RD for.

I would immediately make a copy in case something happened to one of them, and then I would frame the original, but since i don’t frame any of my awards now, except for the national honor society one, i doubt i will do anything but relish and love it, plus i might show it off to some friends if they ask about it

OMG good idea!!! I’m thinking we will need to up it to 10,000. Do you concur?

if you are referring to 10,000 copies that may be a little extreme, and even if you do get in and decide to show it to everyone you meet and know, they may perceive that as way too boastful and a bit self centered, if you do get in, be careful about how many people you brag to about this, you wouldn’t want to lose a friend by indirectly rubbing it in their face by consistently showing them the sheet

Hahahahhah

Apparently u didn’t detect the half-sarcastic tone of my post. Anyways my friends are cool they know I have like no chance of getting in so I am sure they’d all LOVE a copy… I don’t think friends should get jealous about **** like that…we’re all happy for each other

And please note: I was only half sarcastic. So, if 10000 is a bit extreme, do you think 7000 would be enough??

yes, 7000 would be enough, and maybe you should send them to the 7000+ that get rejected, (hopefully I won’t receive one)

hey. i wandered over here from the ED Penn boards looking for more good topics to start threads with so we can beat yale lol…

anyway a girl in my school got into Cornell ED last year…her mom made her take a bazillion pictures of her holding the acceptance letter and with balloons and flowers, then put it on a flier and sent it to everyone she knew.

crazy, no? lol

wow, i understand that parent was extremely proud, but i would hope that the people she sent it too she knew well, not just casual acquantinces, b/c, this may just be my disposition, that seems to be really lavish (maybe a better word should be used there, but i think you get what i mean) and overly boastful, and yes crazy

I know this kid who applied ED to cornell last year and he had the bear greeting saved on his comp. Check it out:

Did you have to post that in every thread? Nice flash job though.
