I’m in the process of applying back to university. Currently I’m applying to SFSU, SJSU, USF, Cal Poly SLO and UCSC applying as a political science/ international relations major depending on the school. I’m in a situation where I attended my freshman year at University of Arizona with a 2.3 GPA. I returned home my following year to attend a very rigorous community college. I managed to get a 3.625 GPA at the community college by the end of my first year there. Right now I’m in my 3rd year. Since I’ve been home I’ve also been working 10-25 hours a week while being in school full time and volunteering. Would it be possible to get into these schools still or would it be better to wait another year then apply again with a even higher GPA? I would prefer to finish college in 5 years but would do 6 years if my chances might be better with another year of community college. I also would like to go to graduate school. Thanks in advance for your replies!
