Im thinking of getting my masters in public relations/communicatons. I have a B.A. from a UC but the thing is, my GPA is kind of low. I have been out of school for a year. I haven’t taken the GRE yet.

Would it be a good idea to take a semester (fall) of professional classes in public relations (its part of the extension program/continuing eduation program that some universities have, there is no admissions procoess, you just pay for the classes). These classes basically introduce you to the material or provide you with certain skills. Then during the winter and spring, study for the GRE, take it and apply for a masters program for the spring semester?

Thanks
