Hi everyone!
So, I have my standard “application-worthy” accomplishments (#1 on varsity tennis, oodles of singing/theatre stuff, charity work, decent grades), but I also have somethings that people might consider… testy.

I am currently the leader of People For Change, a discussion-based feminist group that has over 40 members, more than any other club on campus! I am the founder and president of this club and I am very proud of how well my little “child” has come along. However, many people today still think feminism is men-hating, screaming, crazy women, but in reality, we’re just civilized people trying to make a change in the world we live in. I am not sure if schools would view this as really interesting or really testy/scandalous

However, I am also an initiative leader in my school when it comes to sexual health. I am currently trying to work things around my school that make upper-school (High school) students more proactive with their sex lives. At my school, we get sexual education for a brief period in health class in 7th grade and then it never comes up again, despite the fact that most of the students who are sexually active are in the upper-school division. Again, schools could view this as interesting and notable, or it could seem too mature and inappropriate.

Should I bring those up? Should I not?
Thank you!
