<p>I want to go to law school or bschool and Im interested in majoring something business related but I’m also open to other ideas. </p>
<p>Right now Im thinking of doing finance but my friend said not to because Im not going to an ivy or a public ivy like UVa or Michigan. </p>
<p>So my question is what should people at less prestigious state Us major in?</p>
<p>I am sure smarter people can answer this but why not finance or accounting. There are going to be jobs you can do in accounting and if you do well UG and get good test scores plus a decent job you will get into business school.</p>

<p>major in whatever is recruited well at the school you want to go to. It’s not hard to figure this out, you can go onto your school’s website, check out employment stats, top recruiting companies, etc.</p>
<p>worst comes to worst if you major in business and find you can’t get a job you want, you can still go to law school.</p>
<p>political science… economics… history… math…</p>
