<p>My little brother recently got a call from the football coach at a small liberal arts school he is attempting to transfer to asking him if he would be interested in playing for their team (he played in high school). This seems like good news…but they aren’t supposed to get official decisions till the 15th. What should he think?</p>
<p>I would say that means he is either a borderline candidate or in.
If your brother seriously wants to attend this school and would indeed have some interest in going out for the team, it could not hurt to tell the coach that he would be interested in playing after evaluating his academic commitments.</p>
