Got a 2290 on old SAT, 35 on ACT. Applying to competitive schools. I’m proud of ACT but SAT, not as much (for the schools I’m looking at). Some give me ScoreChoice; in this case, should I send in only ACT or both?
I’m in a similar situation right now (2270 old SAT and 34 ACT). I’m likely sending both because my math section was slightly better on the SAT, but my ACT score is better overall. Unless you have a relatively low score on one section of the ACT or SAT, I would send both. Both of your scores are very good, and colleges will be reassured of your intellectual strength because they will see that you were able to score well on both tests.
