<p>Right now, I have 660W/670CR/700M from the June SAT. I was kinda surprised, as my score report indicated that I had gotten a LOT of questions wrong(morso than I thought) like -7 on Math and -10 on CR and -6 on Writing. I have pretty bad grades(B-/C+ student frosh/soph year and B/A junior year), so a good SAT score and great(straight A) first semester grades are my only hope into getting into some top CS schools like CMU. So anyway, my goal is to do very well on the SAT(I want to hit at least 750+ in each section, and hopefully an 800 in math). I have the blue book, the six practice tests online, 3 QAS tests(jan '06, oct '05, oct '06), and some misc. collegeboard practice stuff. </p>
<p>How would you recommend I prepare for the Oct SAT to get my score where I want it to be? Should I get any additional books? Should I take the tests untimed? What have you guys found to be the most effective method? I really need to get my SAT scores up!</p>
